MySelfHelp.com to Present at Annual American Psychological Association Conference

May 25, 2003 - Northborough, MA. MySelfHelp.com will present a workshop titled “Interactive Self-help Programs for Depression, Binge Eating, and Related Problems” at the American Psychological Association annual conference in Toronto on August 7-10. The workshop, sponsored by the Division of Media Psychology, will be presented by Richard Bedrosian, Ph.D., Associate in Psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and president of MySelfHelp.com, and Nanci Pradas, Ph.D., executive vice president of MySelfHelp.com.

“Computer- and Internet-based programs have shown great promise as adjuncts to treatment for depression, binge eating, and related problems,” said Bedrosian. “This workshop will address design issues, ethical concerns, and empirical findings associated with recently developed interactive programs.”
