On May 14, 2005, MySelfHelp.com staff members joined thousands of other
individuals for the second annual National Alliance for the Mentally
Ill walk in Boston, Massachusetts. The NAMI Walks for the Mind of America
is a nationwide event designed to help increase public awareness about
mental illness and raise funds to provide new resources and programs
for individuals and families living with these disorders.
“We were proud to be able to participate in this important event,
and join others who are dedicated to educating the public and fighting
the stigma and negative stereotypes associated with mental illness,” said
Dr. Richard Bedrosian, president of MySelfHelp.com.
The National Alliance for the Mentally Ill is dedicated to improving the
quality of life for people affected by mental illness. To learn more or
